Raising the level of your GrowMate is a popular way to turn it into a feature - and it can also make things easier to work at.
Rosemary Webb (London) constructed the tall plinth (top left) using plywood. She has added a door to allow access so that it can be used to hold trowels, seed-packets and other odds and ends.
The other plinths shown here are constructed in stone and show what is possible using conventional bricks & mortar.
